Activities and Partnerships

Partnerships have been the greatest strength of UMCSAWM. Thus far the SAF trustees as donors have shown immense confidence in the Sustainable Water Resources Management Project. Their comments and periodic evaluations have enabled the rectification of drawbacks. SAF governing council meeting was held in Colombo and their visit to the UMCSAWM was a great moral booster. UMCSAWM received extremely positive remarks about satisfaction with respect to the achievements of our graduates and graduates.

National Organizations

A remarkable achievement of the UMCSAWM is the number of partnerships it could secure from the leading water sector agencies in Sri Lanka. Mahaweli Authority of Sri Lanka donated a full-fledged meteorological plus water data collection station demonstrating its observation of the impact created by the UMCSAWM. The department of Agrarian Services has already indicated its intention to collaborate with the UMCSAWM to build the capacity of the technical assistants.
