Sambuddha Bajracharya, a Research scholars studying for his Master’s in Water Resources Engineering and Management at UMCSAWM, attended a side event on regional cooperation for addressing the triple planetary crisis in the Hindu Kush Himalaya at the fifth Forum of Ministers and Environment Authorities of Asia Pacific.

The event provided Bajracharya with valuable insights into how various stakeholders and delegates are addressing the triple planetary crises in one of the most exposed regions, the Hindu Kush Himalaya. He had the opportunity to hear from experts and Hon. Ministers on this critical issue, and to network with other professionals working on the climate crisis in the fields of biodiversity, ecosystem management, environmental economics, and environmental policy.

Bajracharya’s participation in the event is a testament to UMCSAWM’s commitment to training the next generation of leaders in Water Resources Engineering and Management.
