The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of the proposed UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Centre for South Asia Water Management (UMCSAWM), University of Moratuwa was held on 18th August 2011, at the auspicious time among the Pirith chanting and the blessings of the most venerable Maha Sangha. The function was attended by the guests and well-wishers including Board Members of the SAF-Sri Lanka Chapter, members of the UoM, and many others.
