The Bangladesh High Commission in Colombo hosted a vibrant evening to commemorate the 52nd Victory Day of Bangladesh on December 16th, 2023. The event offered a delightful blend of celebration and cultural immersion, leaving a lasting impression on attendees.

The program included a celebratory dinner followed by a captivating cultural showcase. Performances featuring patriotic songs, traditional dances, and poetry recitals, all delivered by members of the High Commission’s staff and Bangladeshi expatriates, resonated with the spirit of the occasion.

Among the guests were Mr Zarif Apu and Mr Sambuddha Bajracharya, UMCSAWM scholars from Bangladesh and Nepal, who had the honour of attending the event. The warm hospitality extended by the High Commission officials ensured a memorable evening for all those present.
