Visa Information
International participants travelling to
Sri Lanka to attend the conference should
ensure that they obtain the appropriate visa
prior to travel. Participants attending
conferences, seminars, and workshops are
generally required to obtain a Business
Purpose Visa / Business ETA for their
short-term visit to Sri Lanka.
Applicants may be required to provide
supporting documentation, including an
official invitation or request letter from
the conference organizers or host institution.
Participants are advised to check the latest
visa requirements applicable to their
nationality and complete the required visa
procedures well in advance of their intended
travel date.
Visitors should also ensure that their
passport is valid for at least six months
from the date of arrival in Sri Lanka and
should carry relevant travel documents,
including a confirmed return/onward ticket
and evidence of sufficient funds for their
stay.
